By now, most of you know Donna B. Well, Donna had a Superbowl party at her home earlier this year. In fact, it was one of the last events I made it to before things started to change towards social distancing. As expected, her spread put together by family and friends was magical. There were so many things to choose from. In the center of it all, there was this super salad, full of colors. It was calling my name. It had a mix of some unusual ingredients and I was intrigued. I tried it and the sweetness, bitters, and textures worked beautifully. I ate about 3 bowls and took some home. Per Donna B, any type of greens or lettuce can be used, it is a personal choice. If greens are used, the salad will last in the fridge longer. A dressing can be used with this salad or eaten with no dressing at all and it will not be missed.
I won't add measurements, so that you can decide how much of what is needed. No salad dressing is required. If you'd like maybe a berry vinaigrette.
